  • CANCOM is one of the few partners in Germany that has already achieved five awards in the new Microsoft Cloud Partner Program
  • Microsoft confirms CANCOM as a solution partner for Data & AI (Azure), Infrastructure (Azure), Digital & App Innovation (Azure), Modern Work and Security
  • CANCOM customers benefit from certified know-how of Microsoft Cloud solutions

In October 2022, Microsoft restructured its partner program: Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) became Microsoft Cloud Partner Program (MCPP). The new program is intended to better reflect the development of digital transformation as well as partner performance. CANCOM is one of the first Microsoft partners in Germany to receive five of the six available competencies.

In the new Microsoft Cloud Partner Program, the previous silver and gold competencies have been replaced by newly tailored “Solutions Designations” that are based on Microsoft’s six business areas. On the one hand, this is intended to simplify and standardize cooperation with partners. On the other hand, it should make it easier for potential customers to identify Microsoft partners who have competencies in cloud solution areas that are in high demand, as well as providing them with a better overview of services.

Less than two months after the launch of the new program, CANCOM has already achieved the five Solutions Designations Data & AI (Azure), Infrastructure (Azure), Digital & App Innovation (Azure), Modern Work, and Security, becoming a Microsoft Solution Partner in these areas. “We are pleased that CANCOM is one of the first Microsoft partners in Germany that has already achieved five of the new solution competencies,” reports Sebastian Skock, Director Microsoft Alliance Center at CANCOM. “The awards confirm our performance competence and expertise around Microsoft cloud solutions.”

Within Solutions Designations, partners have the opportunity to achieve new Solution Partner Specializations (formerly Advanced Specializations) that express deep expertise within each solution area. This requires even more comprehensive certifications, references and employee qualifications around the Microsoft portfolio. CANCOM holds the Azure Virtual Desktop specialization here.

The Microsoft Cloud Partner Program is open to all partners in the Microsoft ecosystem. The new six solution areas Data & AI (Azure), Infrastructure (Azure), Digital & App Innovation (Azure), Business Applications, Modern Work, and Security address Microsoft’s business units and are intended to give customers a better overview of cloud solution partners. In the former Microsoft Partner Network, partners could achieve 19 competencies, which are no longer valid since the beginning of October.[/vc_column_text][vc_icons dynamic_icon=”” dynamic_placeholder=”” width=”50%”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
